Buttermilk
Every engagement, every brief, every handover, every post-mortem on one Notion backbone. The agency operating system, not its content workflow.
Buttermilk is a growth marketing agency juggling 14 active engagements across a small team. Before the workspace, each account lead ran their clients out of a separate folder. Brief templates drifted, kickoff rituals drifted, weekly status reports drifted. The managing partner spent Friday reconciling four different formats.
We rebuilt the agency backbone on one Notion workspace. Every engagement inherits the same brief template, the same kickoff page, the same weekly status report, the same post-mortem checklist. New engagements click a template button and get the shape. Old engagements stayed as they were.
Brief turnaround dropped from roughly three hours to 25 minutes. The brief is not faster because the writer got faster. The brief is faster because the template asks the right questions, and Claude drafts the first pass from the meeting transcript. The human edits the draft, not the blank page.
Nine months in, Buttermilk runs 47 template pages across 22 views and 218 project rows. The handover shipped with a Loom per database and a quarterly audit ritual. The workspace is on its third audit cycle. Nothing has needed a structural rewrite.
